About Manila

Manila, Philippines is the current home, away from home for Ken and Prelia
Rice.  Manila the capital of the Philippines, a city engulfed in rich history and
tradition. "Maynila" derived its name from two Tagalog words; "may,"
meaning "there is," and "nilad," the name of a shrub that originally grew
abundantly along the shores of the Pasig River and Manila Bay.  Once you
step off the plane and into a waiting car, you are ultimately caught in an
exciting maze of people, cars, jeepneys and buses…a memory not to be
forgotten.  From the walls of
Intramuros to the skyscrapers of Makati City,
Manila is rich in history, culture and boasts an exciting nightlife. Whether
simply you’re first stop, or your final destination, Manila will leave a lasting
impression.

If anybody thinks we get bored here, you’re definitely wrong!  There is not
enough time in the day to do everything we want to.  Just check out the
hyper and other URL links provided, to get an idea of the exciting life Prelia
and I am fortunate to have.
